Assessment

A free proprietary assessment is administered for both the areas of reading and math. This allows us to create the perfect program based on what your child knows and what your child would like to know. This is a free service and there is no obligation to sign-up for the program. This is the first step in designing your child's tailor-made educational program. The time it takes vary from child to child the reading portion is interactive and the math portion is done by completing a handwritten assessment. Note both assessments are stopped when the student appears to be having difficulty.

Reading Tutoring

Level 0- The first 26 sounds of the alphabet.

Level 1- This level teaches long vowel sounds and associated rules.

​

Level 2- An introduction to letter teams and the sounds they make. 24 letter teams are taught on this level.

​

Level 3- Continuing with letter teams introducing 3-letter letter teams. This level includes 15 letter teams and sounds.

Level 4- The final level includes 21 sounds of a mixture of letters and four-letter letter teams.

Each level is equipped with leveled readers that support the students' ability to apply the rules and sounds learned in each level.

Math Tutoring

We have programs that vary from basic number sense all the way through Algebra and upper level mathematics. The information gathered on your child's assessment will determine which study guide we begin with and we will program your child's program in alignment with what is needed for his/her grade level.

Writing Tutoring

This program is designed based on your child's age and current writing ability. The program is designed in a study checklist format and various forms are available typically students start with the basic grammar form and work their way up through advanced essay writing.
